Four giants of modern jazz first joined forces on Bob James' acclaimed Grand Piano Canyon album last year. the combination clicked and "Fourplay" was born . Producer, writer and keyboard virtuoso Bob James has credits ranging from Sarah Vaughan, and Grover Washington to a Grammy-winning partnership (Double Vision) and David Sanborn. Guitarist Lee "Captain Fingers" Rittenour has an impressive history both as a solo artist and as a much-sought-after studio muscian. Harvery Mason has played with artists ranging from George Benson to Carole King. Nathan East has guested with the Pointer Sisters and gained further celebrity supporting Eric Clapton. Together, they bring superb musicianship, years of experience and sophisticated musical interaction to the project. Special studio guest include El DeBarge, Patti Labelle and Philip Bailey.
