The next release on mau5trap is a special one. We would like to introduce Skrillex and his fabulous release 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'. Skrillex is a young talent hailing from Los Angeles. With big support from deadmau5 himself and currently on tour in the US with him, Skrillex is already keeping up with the big hitters. He brings us an EP of such eclecticism that it has something for every dancefloor, every stereo and everyone who is into good quality electronica. Starting of this EP is Rock N Roll a big electro stomper with his signature warm synths and riffs that you ll become familiar with as you work your way through his tracks and realise the production quality is second to none. Onto Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites with a very memorable riff and heavy hitting dubstep, a great title track which moves us perfectly into Kill Everybody another electronic, mind blowing production. When you get to All I Ask Of You, you will notice that Skrillex has more to his repertoire than electrifying riffs and stomping bass lines - yet building melodic synths and beautiful melodies combined with the vocal talents of Penny. Scrillex teams up with London collective Foreign Beggars and Dubstep producer Bare Noize for Scatta - another smashing electro/dubstep monster. To finish the mini album, Srillex brings us a melodic synth driven piece of music with gorgeous vocoders that round off the release in style. Also included in the package are three great remixes from Noisia, Zedd and Bare Noize.
