Pointe to Pointe

Teachers of ballet students who are beginning pointe work know how important it is to have music at correct tempi, music with clear introductions, and music that is interesting. All of these concepts were kept in mind when designing the music for, "Pointe to Pointe". Mignon Furman is a professional dance teacher committed to giving children a strong introduction to ballet, and her wisdom with this level gave pianist Steven Mitchell exceptional guidance to create "Pointe to Pointe".

We have created a double disc set: the first for Beginning Level Pointe Class and the second for Intermediate Pointe Class. Each disc is intended to supply music for an entire school year.

The music is leveled for this young age group, slow barre tempos for placement and strength along with center exercises that help them learn to use their new "feet".
