The Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip features new sealing material around the battery compartment to better resist water and dust. The BG-E2N, like its predecessor the BG-E2 grip, has a vertical shutter release that makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally and is compatible with the Canon EOS 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D Digital SLR Cameras. The BG-E2N Battery Grip holds up to two BP-511, BP-511A, BP-512, BP-514 Lithium-ion battery packs or 6 AA Batteries to offer double-length shooting time.
