The Opteka TH20 features smooth operational movement and positive locking. The quick release plate's receiver has a safety lock to prevent accidental release of the quick release plate. This additional safety system prevents the accidental detaching of the camera from the head.
This ball head is strong enough to hold a digital SLR camera with medium weight lenses and light medium format cameras up to 9 pounds. This head is ideal for both tripods and monopods.
