This is an Eduard Models Czech 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the F6F-5, an improved variant of the legendary Grumman F6F Hellcat single-seat, carrier based fighter aircraft operated by the United States Navy and Marine Corps during World War II. Model kit features: Kit features excellent engraved panel lines, well appointed cockpit, detailed wheel wells and landing gear, full twin-row radial engine, separately molded control surfaces and flaps, optional position arresting hook, 2-piece canopy and external stores (6 each HVAR and RP-3 underwing rockets, centerline drop tank and 2 each 500 and 1000 lb bombs). Also includes resin main wheels, die-cut masks (canopy and wheels) plus ample photo-etch parts (ignition harness, bomb fins, fine interior and exterior fittings, color instrument panel and seatbelts).
