Race it to the top!
How many small boys want an RC racing car for their birthday or for christmas? Yep, all of them do! And considering how obsessed grown men can be about their cars, and how they want a newer and faster one, it's not that surprising... For many, many years these toys have been at the top of wishlists and have made children go on and on to their parents about how they want one.
And of course the industry has played its part very well here: every few months a new and shiny model comes available, with the peak in the summer holiday season. One of the latest models is the
Toy Story 3 RC-remote control car, that will have kids dreaming and longing for its shiny looks as it seems to have driven right off the screen of what is likely to be their new favorite movie (which also happens to be
out on DVD).
But the latest trends show that remote control vehicles are not just for kids: RC helicopters, planes and even tanks are becoming a favorite pastime of a steadily growing group of adults. Whether you want to fly a
Chinook Helicopter or maybe operate your own mini
RC Earl Passenger Jet, there is is a host of model flying craft to choose from!
Interestingly, the number of
online racing and
flying games is also steadily increasing. Likely those are aimed at the owners (young and old) of RC heli's, cars and planes who don't feel like going outside today. Or at the poor souls who don't have such really cool things to play with... And who should start writing their christmas wishlist...
