GODSMACK DVDs
Grab yourself any of the edition DVD live performances of Godsmack that is widely recognized and loved by many fans worldwide. This metal band performance has their own specific target market that knows always contempt their fans with their rocking and fiery songs that are incredible and are food to the ears. The DVD that I single handedly have to handpick is the one titled “
Godsmack – Live”. The reason being why I have to select this one is simply because it has some hypnotic effects that instill some bit of everlasting life to your mood, basically here in this DVD the Godsmack kicks out the jams in this power-packed return to their home turf. Recorded at the Centrum Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, the multi-platinum rockers explode live in concert with their chart-topping hit singles "Whatever" and "Keep Away" as well as the hypnotic favorites "Voodoo" and "Bad Religion." It's time to get smacked! Songs: Awake, Sick of Life, Vampires, Bad Magick, Bad Religion, Mistakes, Greed, Trippin', Get Up Get Out!, Spiral, Keep Away, Voodoo, Whatever.
For its homecoming concert in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the spring of 2001, Godsmack returned as certified headliners, as superstars. And for 80-plus minutes, the quartet gives its fans exactly what they came for and love: head-banging, ear-splitting, gut-churning hard rock. The fans, actually, are the costars of this in-your-face concert film: there are as many shots of the fist-pumping, bodysurfing crowd as there are of the boys in the band, which may be a clue as to whom this release is aimed at. But those true fans of Godsmack will undoubtedly be sated, since 13 of the group's most memorable slabs of nu-metal (including "Greed," "Awake," and the Grammy-nominated instrumental, "Vampires") are included. In between the pummeling songs, singer Sully Erna comes across as an articulate spokesman, and it might have been interesting to have a brief interview with him to discuss his band's music; as it is, there are no DVD extras.
