They are the latest kids, well
known kids on the block that is on the music industry but when it comes
to their popularity in their own rights they are the force to be
reckoned with and definitely they are tipped to be the heavyweights with
their style of supergroup genre they do.
This supergroup band which their sound encompasses of rock, reggae and
Indian music are calling themselves Superheavy
and the title of their debut album is likewise the same of their band
name Superheavy and is made up of artists such as Mick Jagger, Joss
Stone, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley, and A. R. Rahman. One truly has
confess that the existence of the band came at a spur-of-the-moment time
where we didn’t
see all of that coming as they kept it secret until May 2011.On 20 May
2011, English musician and the lead vocalist of rock band The Rolling
Stones Mick Jagger announced its formation. Super Heavy was Dave
Stewart's idea. Inspired by the sounds washing into his home in St Ann's
Bay, Jamaica, Stewart urged Mick Jagger to fuse their sound with that
of Indian orchestras. Stewart and Mick had mutual liking for Indian
orchestrations; thus, A. R. Rahman was added to the supergroup.
Furthermore, This diverse and eclectic line up who share eleven Grammy
Awards between them, have been recording together in various studios
around the world, with the majority of the tracks on the project laid
down over three weeks in Los Angeles earlier this year. The album will
be unveiled in September and tracks include the first single `Miracle
Worker', plus `One Day One Night', `Energy', `Unbelievable,'
`SuperHeavy,' I Can't Take It No More,' `You're Never Gonna Change' and
