Groove Armada’s George Vjestica Showcases the Gibson-Apple Partnership 

Lead guitarist for Groove Armada, George Vjestica will be performing at the new Apple Pro Studio 2009 launches in cities around Europe, India and Russia beginning 21 October. The guitarist will be playing a Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop to showcase the partnership of Gibson with Apple for the Final Cur Studio, Final Cut Server and Logic Studio releases.  

The new software combined with the advanced interface of Mac OS X Snow Leopard creates the ultimate studio, which, with Gibson’s quality, produces pristine sound. At each launch of the Apple Pro Studio 2009 , a separate Gibson demo area will be set up to feature the new releases of the infamous guitar marque – the Gibson Dark Fire and Gibson Zoot Suit SG.  

Standarg Goldtop

The Standard Goldtop that Vjestica will be using was the original collaboration of Les Paul and Gibson, first appearing in 1952. Originally with single coil P-90 pickups, a revised version appeared in 1957 with the characteristically Gibson humbucking pickup. 

Zoot Suit

The new Zoot Suit features a brand new body built with numerous birch wood pieces, laminated in a satin finish. Each piece of wood is dyed a different colour which, when bonded, form one solid block of candy-coloured wood. Typically Gibson, the Zoot Suit features the rounded profile, hand-curved neck and legendary 496R and 500T pickups.  

Dark Fire

Proclaimed by creators, the Gibson Dark Fire is said to be the World’s most powerful guitar, changing guitars forever. Dark Fire makes use of the Chameleon tone technology providing an infinite number of tone possibilities, while introducing the new P-90H pickup. The Piezo bridge pickup allows the acoustic sound to be integrated with the sound of the traditional pickups adding to the infinite possibility of sounds.
