Testimonials
I was in the states at the beginning of the year. I had the most amazing trip. Unfortunately I couldn't buy most of the stuff I wanted to, because I would have been over the weight limit with my luggage. I was most disappointed because I was having to really shortlist my want list. Anyways, I got back and a friend told me about WantItAll.co.za. I was able to order all the items I left behind. They were very helpful and friendly when I contacted them about my concerns about placing a big order. Never the less I received my package 8 days later. Thank you WantItAll.co.za for a job well done!!!

Bill Murray cameos in Zombieland as himself
Bill Murray cameos in Zombieland as himself

Last year’s funniest film, now available on DVD and Blu-ray, Zombieland features a priceless cameo with one of the Hollywood’s number one actors – Bill Murray. Writer’s Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese told MTV how a B-grade film got an A-list star to act, well, human.

Starting out with Patrick Swayze in the run for the cameo when they wrote it, Wernick and Rhett rewrote it after he fell ill. So producer Gavin Polone and director Ruben Fleischer sat down and figured out who to approach next. They wrote drafts for about 10 to 15 other actors, including Jean-Claude Van Damme, Matthew McConaughy and The Rock. McConaughy backed out at the last moment.

They didn’t factor Murray into their drafts, figuring they could never get him. But Woody Harrelson – hero of Zombieland – suggested Bill Murray. They wrote a draft for him, but had trouble getting the script over to him, because he’s “incredibly difficult to get hold of”. After FedExing the script to a FedEx Kinkos in New York, Murray read the script and liked.

After changing Murray from a zombie into human, so the A-list actor could have some lines, they began shooting the scene. Murray, playing himself in the film, disguises himself as a zombie to avoid being detected by the real deal. The following vids are Murray's cameo.
