I was looking for a certain Casio g-shock watch - my search felt like forever. I almost gave up completely. I then came across WantItAll.co.za’s online help service. I asked them if they had any idea where or how I could get this item. In a matter of minutes they had gotten back to me with the url address and I was able to place my order straight away. Thank you WantItAll.co.za for all your help! I can't wait to receive my watch and to order things from you in the future :)

How to extend your BalckBerry® battery life

How to extend your BalckBerry® battery life

Your BlackBerry® battery life promised to last almost as long as your life, but now you’re finding that after a couple of hours it reminding you of a low battery. There are a number of tips that you can implement immediately to increase the life of your lithium-ion (li-ion) battery, and these do not include the false belief of charging it to 130% and then letting it run down completely.

1. Set email filters
Receiving emails uses your battery life. While this function is most likely the reason you and your company have BlackBerries, you can setup email filters so that your phone does not download your mom’s chain mail or lolcatz.

2. Adjust backlight settings
Your BlackBerry® gives you the option to decrease the amount of time your backlight stays lit and how bright it is. Reducing both will give you an extended battery life, especially if you use the 7100 and 7290. Go to ‘Options’, click ‘Screen/Keyboard’ and adjust.

3. Turn off your wireless
If your blackBerry® is constantly online and constantly searching for mail, then it’s battery life will be very low. Only use wireless when you have to or set intervals for searching mail (that is, only retrieve email every hour or 30 minutes).

4. Set the Auto On/Off
You BlackBerry® comes with a clever little function of switching itself on an off. Unless you work 24 hours a day and have no landline, then you can afford for your smartphone to switch itself off after hours or later night.

5. Get a new battery
Lithium-ion batteries only last for about 1,000 charges/ discharges. If these tips do not work to give you extra battery life then consider buying a new BlackBerry® 8900 Javelin Battery. If you’re a frequent traveler, then having an extra battery is not such a bad idea as you often don’t get a chance to recharge.
