Due to the pigment strength, usually less color is necessary to achieve the color desired... measured by the gram! We recommend using a gram scale, like a postage scale, to weigh your color. Be sure to keep weight and formula records, so you can duplicate the same color in the future. Obviously, everyone has a different perception of color. So you'll have to experiment to come up with your very own custom colors.
