It will also prepare your skin for at home glycolic peels, and help to maintain the beauty you have achieved. Glycolic acid helps to accelerate the removal of dead, dull skin, increase collagen, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun damage and hyper pigmentation. Along with reducing the appearance of large pores and acne scarring, it will also help to clear up blackheads and oily/acne prone skin. Don't worry about your skin drying out though, glycolic acid is actually very moisturizing and after an initial slight dryness, your skin will be very balanced.
