A textured cross is embossed on the cover, with gold lettering on the spine. The cover is available in red or forest green, colors available only in this Church Publishing edition. The Prayer Books is sturdily assembled, with smyth-sewn pages and a spine that won't crack under heavy use. The text is easily readable in 9-point type.
