Function:
Ratchet style refers to the ridged end of each pedal strap that is for use with the pedal's built in clasp. Pedal straps have slots at one end for attachment to the pedals. The slots on one side are 5/8 inch in length and 1/4 inch in width. Please check your bike pedals to see that they fit tight and securely.

How to use:
1. Start on the inside of the pedal (nearest the pedal shaft) by placing the slotted hole in the strap at the bottom of the tab and pulling the strap up and into place.
2. Then with the tab on the outside of the pedal, start at the bottom and push the strap up and around the tab into place.
