The key to SoundTrax getting the job done is the peaks and valleys (and angles and depths and curves and...well you get idea) that offer absorption in the mid and high frequency range, but all that exposed area on each panel helps with refraction of sound as well. A little of this treatment will go a long way to cleaning up your sound issues. But, please remember that with the SoundTrax, while you get an awesome look from each panel, they are not cut to match exactly when installed side by side. And the best way to mount our SoundTrax studio foam panels is with a pack of NextTape adhesive tabs. Just cut the tabs into 1 inch x 1 inch pieces and you'll be able to hang your panels! For 2 ft x 4 ft panels we suggest 8 1 inch x 1 inch mounting points per panel. Search for NextTape before you check out! You'll be glad you did.
