  • This gorgeous bronze gong has been handmade in Nepal. Each gong presents a complex, open sound with a mix of subtle deep tones wrapped in a rich wash of overtones. The experience is mystery and wonder.
  • The gong is engraved with an image of the Hindu deity Bhairava, a manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation. While the name originates from a word meaning "fearsome," Bhairava is also known as the fear destroyer and ego cleaner, protecting from greed, lust, and anger which seek to close us off from seeking God within.
  • The Meinl Table Gong Stands are made for small-sized gongs. The sturdy compact design allows the gong to be played in a comfortable position on the floor or on a table. It is specially designed to allow the gong to swing freely on the stand and remain securely mounted.
