Replacement Thermocouple for Direct Vent Fireplaces Fits SIT 820 NOVA Gas Valves with course thread. Most direct vent units use the fine thread thermocouple, but some do use this course thread thermocouple. This is for a millivolt valve. Millivolt valves can be controlled by a switch, remote control, or thermostat. This is used by Mendota, and many other fireplace companies. Thermocouple is approximately 23 1/2" long.
