- SUPPORTS WATER FEATURES AND COVERS BASINS: Use this heavy duty, rustproof, waterproof grate as a water fountain base top or to hold other pond and water garden features. When covering water basins and reservoirs, it prevents fountains or other water features from sagging. This black grate is also excellent for pondless waterfalls and other pondless water features.
- ENSURES SELF SUPPORT THROUGH STURDY CONSTRUCTION: Made in the USA of hard PVC, This sturdy grate requires no additional supports to hold water features weighing under 75 pounds. However, for all installations we do recommend the addition of 2 standard 8 inch cinder blocks (can be purchased locally) placed evenly beneath its center. This will allow the grate to support anywhere from 100 to 1,000 pounds with no concern sagging or damage.
- OFFERS GENEROUS DIMENSIONS: Measuring about 24 inches wide and 48 inches long, this strong grate is about 2.5 inches thick. Its dimensions and strength allow it to support one pond and water garden feature or multiple features, depending on their sizes and weights.
- ALLOWS CUTTING FOR ADAPTABILITY: Although this grate is made of heavy duty PVC, it can be cut with a saw to revise it as needed. For example, sawing may be done to create a pump access door in it.
- HOLDS VARIOUS WATER FEATURES: In addition to a water fountain, this grate supports decor such as bubbling rocks, vases, pottery or imitation rocks.

If you don't want a sagging or leaning water feature, then use this heavy duty grate to keep it upright and level. The sturdy, self supporting platform requires no additional supports for most water features. It is commonly used to cover water basins or reservoirs that support bubbling rocks, vases, pottery or imitation rocks. You can also use this black grate to construct a pondless waterfall or different pondless water feature.
NOTE: If the platform is used for a very heavy boulder, then cinder blocks can be added, allowing the grate to support almost 1,000 pounds.
GREAT SIZE FOR A VARIETY OF USES
The platform is about 2 feet wide, 4 feet long and 2 1/2 inches thick. It can be cut with a saw if necessary, such as to add a pump access door.
