2.7mm Medium Walnut Blind Cord Kit (30 Feet of Cord)
- Cord made in the USA. Same cord many major brands use.
- High quality replacement cord. Made of polyester fiber for high tensile strength.
- To reduce the chance of a return, please check how to measure the cord.
- With a number 2 pencil wrap the cord around 4 times. Push the cord together tight.
- And this should measure 1/2" when using a unworn cord. This is not exact but just a helpful tool.
Standard cord replacement kit components for blinds with 2 pull cords. 2 plastic cord tassels, 2 plastic cord stops, 1 threading tool and 30 feet of 2.7mm medium walnut pull cord. Warning, the cords on certain products present a potential strangulation hazard. Basic Repair Instructions Examine how cords are threaded through the cord guides and cord lock. Remove bottom rail plug and remove the worn out cord. Pull the new cord through the hole in the bottom of the head rail. Pull cord through the cord guides and into the cord lock. Stack the slats to together and push the cord threading tool in from the bottom rail. Slip the cord into the threading tool and pull. For longer blinds you may need to do this in small sections. Slip the cord into the bottom rail plug and tie a knot. Install and lower the blind. Install clear plastic cord stop about 2 inches below the cord lock. Pull the cord through the hole in the cord stop and knot the cord so the stop does not move. Cut the cord to desired length. Attach the end of cord to the tassel.
