3" Rodent PVC Vent Screen for Horizontal Pipe Vented Furnaces, Hot Water Heaters and Boilers PVS-RS3

The PVS-RS3 is an American made true PVC vent screen that maintains an industry leading 90% airflow in horizontally vented high efficiency appliances. Used by professionals, even on condensing vents during winter, the PVS-RS3 has openings large enough to allow intake air and spent exhaust gas to properly flow without restriction while still keeping small animals such as mice out of the ventilation system. This precision machined vent screen is designed to close tolerances and will fit perfectly into 3" PVC hubs and is held in place with an included 304 stainless steel internal wire clip. No caulk, screws or other cumbersome fasteners are needed to install this vent screen. For durability, the PVS-RS3 is constructed with a 2x2 316 stainless steel screen that is encased in a durable 6061-T6 aluminum housing. These materials, which are also sourced in the United States, are anti-corrosive and will not become brittle like plastic. The PVS-RS3 is ideal to guard three inch PVC pipes from birds, chipmunks, mice, moles, rats, squirrels and other outdoor animals. Please note that the PVS-RS3 has an outside diameter of 3.465 inches and is designed to install inside of any standard 3" schedule 40 or 80 PVC hub or coupling having a 3-1/2" opening.
