The 3B Scientific M34/1 human foot skeleton with ligaments and muscles model is used for anatomical study, and dissembles into six parts for effective demonstration. The model’s front features the lower leg’s extensor muscles, the tendons and their passage under the transverse and cruciate crural ligaments to their insertion points, and the tendon sheaths, for detailed examination. The M34/1 model‘s dorsal portion has a removable gastrocnemius muscle for further study. The model’s sole consists of removable layers for additional detail--the first layer displays the flexor digitorum brevis muscle, which can be removed to expose the quadratus plantae, the tendon of the flexor digitorum longus, and the flexor hallucis muscle; the second layer is removable to display deeper anatomical details of the foot. The model measures 9.1 x 10.2 x 7.5 inches/23.0 x 26.0 x 19.0cm (L x W x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
