- 3M 2519 High Performance Flatback Tape is a high-performance brown paper tape used for splicing liner boards, bundling, holding, packaging applications, reinforcing, wrapping and protecting.
- It has a strong, heavy-duty paper backing and a proprietary high strength adhesive which gives confidence in critical applications.
- 3M 2519's color blends well with cardboard and Kraft cartons and unlike traditional film packaging tapes the tape can be torn by hand.
- The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and does not need water to activate it like a gummed paper tape.
- Carrier/Backing: kraft, flatback paper. Adhesive: rubber. Thickness: 7.3 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 45 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 45 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: up to 200F. Elongation: 9.3%. Core: 3-inch diameter.
