INSTALLATION TIPS: 1) You will need a small, thin implement to change the gasket, such as the rotating portion of a nail file or a flat head screwdriver for glasses repair. Do not worry about damaging the old gasket when removing it - you will no longer need it. 2) You may want to soak the new gasket in hot water for a few minutes to loosen them up and make it easier to seat it. This may not be required - only necessary if you are having trouble seating it. 3) These particular gaskets can take a little bit of time to pop in/out - keep trying at it and it will come out eventually!
