How to Use

â‘  Turn the cloth upside down and place it under the foot;

â‘¡ Lower the machine needle to a position 1/8 inch (about 3mm) away from the edge of the cloth, and then sew 2-3 needles first;

â‘¢ Lift the presser foot and the machine needle;

â‘£ Pull the fabric back and forth to make it pass through the roll groove at the front of the presser foot;

⑤ Please make sure that the fabric edge is under the machine needle, and then put down the presser lever;

â‘¥ Sew 2-3 stitches at a slow speed to ensure that the cloth is sent to the roll groove at the front of the presser foot;

⑦ Continue sewing until the hem is finished.

What Size Hem Foot To Use

2mm narrow hem foot: Use lightweight fabrics such as chiffons, batiste, and silk. Use a straight stitch

5mm narrow hem foot: Used for medium to lightweight fabrics such as calico, home dec fabrics,Use a straight stitch, zig-zag stitch, or a decorative stitch

3mm shell/hem foot: Use on fabrics that are soft like lingerie, batiste, challis and other lightweight stretchy fabrics

Tips: if the edge of the fabric tends to glide out of the hemmer, guide the fabric slightly to the right If too much fabric enters the hem foot, pull it slightly to the left
