Description
- 44 inch segmented magnesium anode rod for low clearance installs plus supplies to service the tank in one job. Dose peroxide into the tank to sanitize and eliminate odor, with the sacrificial rod continuing to protect the tank through gradual consumption
- Included 32 oz 6% hydrogen peroxide targets sulfur (rotten egg) odor in the tank while the sacrificial rod reduces corrosion by breaking down over time instead of the tank lining. The included hydrogen peroxide solution is NSF Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 for drinking water treatment chemicals.
- Includes 1-1/8 inch socket tool and PTFE tape for removing and resealing the anode connection
- Common fit for many GE, Rheem, Reliance, Richmond, and Kenmore water heaters, confirm thread type and hex size before ordering
- Magnesium sacrificial anode helps protect the tank from corrosion, replace when heavily pitted or reduced in diameter
