Description
- HEAVY-DUTY FORGED ALLOY STEEL – Drop-forged alloy steel bar and jaws hold your workpiece steady for welding, cutting, and grinding, rated to a maximum clamping capacity of 1,320 lbs (600 kg). A heavier gauge than light-duty stamped clamps, built for real fabrication loads.
- DEEP 4-3/4" THROAT & 12" OPENING – The 4-3/4 in (120 mm) throat reaches in past the edge so you can clamp closer to the middle of your work, while the 12 in (300 mm) opening takes thick plate, box tube, and stacked stock with room to spare.
- BLACK-OXIDE THREADED SPINDLE – The threaded spindle turns smoothly through repeated open-and-close cycles, finished in black oxide to resist rust and corrosion in a hot, spatter-heavy shop.
- SWIVEL PAD – The pad tilts to sit flat against angled or round stock, spreading pressure evenly for full contact across the workpiece surface.
- STEEL RAIL END-STOP – The sliding arm slides along the steel rail for fast positioning before the spindle locks it down, and a steel stop fixed to the rail end keeps the arm from sliding off in use.
