This great new product will be just right for your art quilt projects and other fusible needs. Mistyfuse Ultraviolet is the only fusible with additives to protect you against the potentially harmful effects of ultraviolet rays. In accelerated aging studies, exposure to UV rays have been shown to cause fusibles to tan (darken). Especially on light colors, sheers or other light weight fabrics, and surface use, tanning may read as a color shift or dark spots. Mistyfuse Ultraviolet is specially formulated with an effective retardant to protect against the tanning effect of UV rays - without sacrificing any of the inherent Mistyfuse qualities you expect and trust. Mistyfuse Ultraviolet is white and fuses clear. Mistyfuse is an environmentally friendly fusible that is solvent-free and recyclable. It's been extruded to a very fine web to create a lasting bond without adding bulk. No extra adhesive to gum up your needles. It is suitable for a wide variety of fabrics from velvets and cottons to delicate tulles and silk organzas. The fusible is made from 100% thermoplastic adhesive polymer resin. The Mistyfuse is available in white and black and Ultraviolet, by the yard in my store (see other listings). The Mistyfuse will be cut directly from the bolt - order as much as you need.
