Tisbe Pods are a tropical copepod, a type of macro zooplankton diet that benefits many animals in a reef environment. Tisbe Pods are a popular food source for many animals, including but not limited to mandarin gobies and other dragonettes, most carnivorous reef fish, young seahorses soft corals & many hard corals. In addition to being a non-replaceable food source, Tisbe Pods provide an excellent service to your aquarium. As a colony flourishes in an aquarium, they are effective detritavores, eating excess detritus, fish food, some animal waste, etc., thus helping to the clean the aquarium.
