Capable of up to 85,000 BTU's - perfect for hot tubs
Shell and Tube, 316 Stainless Steel - Designed for Chlorinated Systems
Ports on opposite sides for better heat transfer
For hot tubs/spas/jacuzzi's up to 6,000 US Gallons
The SP85 is especially made for chlorinated systems, made of 316 stainless steel. 3 things to know when purchasing a pool heat exchanger. 1. You do NOT want the ports on the same side! Water takes the path of least resistance and ports on the same side can make the water flow thru only part of the exchanger. Ports on opposite sides force the water to flow thru the entire heat exchanger for better heat transfer. 2. You do NOT want to use a plate heat exchanger! Plates can clog up, restrict water flow, and unless they are stainless steel can interact with the pool chemicals! Our shell and tube stainless steel construction takes care of these issues! 3. Know what size you're looking for! Look at our quick sizing reference to guide you! Not sure of the gallons in your pool? Drop us a message with the size of your pool (length, width, depth for rectangular pools; diameter and depth for circular) and we'll calculate it for you! Lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. If you have a SALT WATER pool, please see our TITANIUM pool exchanger listings.
