• These filters are constructed of multi-filament polyester that will not absorb any honey. 400 micron material may cause a slower filtration but will take out more particles to give a cleaner honey.
• The opening is made with an elastic band (no strings to try to tie) that will stretch to fit snugly around the opening of a 5 gallon pail so the filter will not fall in to the bucket.
• Designed for a 5 gallon bucket, each bag measures 12 inches (30.48cms) long x 14 inches (35.56cms) at its widest when not stretched. When stretched to fit inside a 5 gallon pail, the opening will be 18 inches (45.72cms).
• The bags are sown with external stitching so that rinsing is made easier. These bags can be washed in warm water but do not boil.
