Designed specifically for 1996-2002 GM trucks and vans with 5.0L and 5.7L Vortec V8s, this kit comes with a high-performance distributor cap and rotor, 8mm Extreme 9000 wires pre-cut to exactly the right length, and a set of ACCEL copper-core spark plugs. The cap and rotor are precision-molded from an impact-resistant, high-dielectric-strength compound and have brass or copper inserts and stainless-steel contact springs. The plug wires have a low-resistance Ferro-Spiral core and are fitted with heat-reflective coated boots rated to 1,200 degrees.
