ATS Interlocked Milling Machine Guard, OSHA Compliant Ram Mount Safety Shield with Safety Switch for Bridgeport Mills, Made in USA, MG-3-SK1
- Versatile Compatibility: Designed for Series I Bridgeport yet adaptable to most brands. We supply the common mounting hardware sizes to fit most machines. The eye shield and arm effortlessly attaches to the large threaded hole on top of the ram, originally designated for lifting. This is the interlocked model.
- Easy Installation: This milling accessory is truly bolt-on. There is no drilling required to install this guard. Making this guard able to install in minutes on most vertical milling machines.
- Extremely Flexible: Milling machine chip guard features heavy duty steel adjustable handles that pull out and orient 360 degrees. Articulating arms allow operator to easily position the shield to fit different work-pieces or fixtures. Guard can also be adjusted left to right on the rail.
- Enhanced Safety Features: The milling safety guard protects operators from flying chips, coolant, and accidental contact with the rotating cutter / spindle. Polycarbonate lexan shield is 1/4" thick. Powder-coated PPG’s "OSHA Safety Orange" this guard is highly visible for increased safety.
- An Accessory for Accessories: With a standard shield size of 9” and made from CNC billet aluminum construction with an industrial T-slot extrusion, this guard provides a way to mount work lamp or other accessories.
