Description
- Standard 8J / 8JE Compatibility: Designed as a 8J sleeve coupling insert (8JE type) with 2-1/2" Length and 5-1/16" outside diameter. Suitable for use with compatible 8J jaw coupling hubs
- Rated Performance for Industrial Use: Rated torque of 1475 in-lb with torsional stiffness of 4335 in-lb/rad and maximum speed up to 4500 RPM. Commonly used in blowers, compressors, conveyors, mixers, motors, and pumps
- EPDM Rubber Construction: Made of EPDM rubber offering resistance to oil and common industrial chemicals. Designed for stable performance in environments with varying temperatures from -30°F to 275°F
- Misalignment Compensation: Allows for parallel misalignment up to 0.02" and angular misalignment up to 1°, helping maintain system operation where minor shaft misalignment exists
- Shock & Vibration Absorption: 4-way flexing design helps absorb shock loads, vibration, and end float, supporting smoother power transmission and reducing stress on connected components
