- LANCING DEVICE FOR LESS PAIN. Are you afraid of pain when blood gathering? There are three closely junctional tracks connecting the rail and body of AUVON lancing device to minimize vibrations and oscillations of lancet needle, lessening the wound during collecting the blood, thus reducing the sense of pain. (NOTE: Insufficient blood applied to test strip will result in wrong readings. Please hold the lancing device firmly against your fingertip for enough sample)
- EASY-TO-USE LANCET EJECTOR. The AUVON blood sampling pen is an automated needle-removing blood collection device. What you need to do is simply ejecting the used lancet with a push and disposing of it according to local regulations.
- 30 GAUGE LANCETS. The lancets are designed with triple sharpened needles to minimize skin trauma and discomfort.
- PRECISION DEPTH SETTING. AUVON blood collection pen has 10 level precision depth setting. Before puncturing, you can adjust the depth by twisting the visible depth settings according to your skin thickness and sensitiveness.

How to use:
Preparing your lancing device
1: Pull off the cap. Carefully remove the cap from the lancing device
2: Insert a lancet & remove its cap. Insert the lancet into the lancet holder, push until the lancet comes to a complete stop inside the device.
3: Place device cap back.
4: Personalize penetration depth. For fingertip lancing, you can adjust the depth of puncture setting if necessary
5: Pull out the button.
6: Cock the lancing device. Pull the cocking handle out until clicks, If it does not click, it may already have been cocked when you inserted the lancet.

7: Prior to sampling blood, wash your hands and the simple site with soap and warm water. Rinse and dry your hands completely.
8: Punture your finger. Press the lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip to be lanced. Press the release button. Remove the lancing device from your finger.
9: Get a round drop of blood.
Removing and disposing of the used lancet
10: Remove cap. Carefully remove the cap from the lancing device. Be careful not to touch exposed needle on the lancet.
11: Eject the lancet. Simply eject the used lancet with a push and dispose of it according to local regulations.
Use precautions:
1: Never share a lancet or lancing device with another person.
2: Make sure to wash the puncture site with soap and warm water before sampling.
3: Always use a new, sterile lancet. Lancets are for single use only.
4: For single person use only. Not for clinical or multi-patient use.
5: Keep your lancing device clean. Hand lotions, oils, dirt and debris on or in the lancing device may prevent the device from working correctly.
