Description
- Right‑hand MTJNR 16‑4D turning tool holder with negative 3° cutting edge angle and negative rake for contouring, profiling and facing operations.
- 1" square shank with 6" overall length and 1‑1/4" tool height offers stability and reach on manual or CNC lathes for controlled cutting.
- Accepts TNMG43 CVD‑coated carbide inserts; one TNMG432 insert is included and features a multi‑layer coating combining TiCN, Al₂O₃ and TiN for high wear resistance, strong adhesion and heat resilience.
- Hardened alloy steel body with finger clamp, clamp screw, locking pin and shim secures the insert and dampens vibration for consistent performance.
- Suitable for machinists and engineers performing external turning, facing and profiling from roughing to finishing on steel, stainless steel and cast iron.
