Description

  • Engineered for turning, facing and copying operations with a negative 5° end or side cutting edge angle and negative rake geometry to enhance chip control. The indexable insert design allows quick edge indexing and replacement, maintaining productivity.
  • Features a 3/4'' square shank with a 5'' overall length and 1'' functional height for rigidity and accurate positioning in standard tool posts.
  • Supplied with one carbide WNMG43 indexable insert featuring a 1/2'' inscribed circle and 3/16'' thickness; the negative 80° trigon geometry provides six cutting edges and high wear resistance. Carbide offers high hardness, wear and heat resistance, while the indexable design provides six cutting edges for cost-effective use.
  • The hardened alloy steel body incorporates a finger clamp, clamp screw, locking pins and shims to secure the insert and damp vibration, ensuring consistent cutting performance.
