- Instant Sound Upgrade for Any Turntable Acrylic has resonance properties similar to vinyl, helping the record couple more effectively with the platter. The result is clearer sound, tighter bass, and improved overall detail.
- Reduces Static and Unwanted Vibrations Helps control micro-vibrations and dissipate static buildup for cleaner playback, more stable tracking, and a quieter listening experience.
- Precision CNC-Machined Acrylic Surface Made from solid acrylic and cut to exact specifications for a perfectly flat playing surface. Includes a label recess so records sit evenly across the platter.
- Easy Installation – No Stacking Required Remove your rubber or felt mat before installing. Place the smooth side down on the platter and the textured side facing up. Designed to sit directly on the platter, not stacked.
- Universal Fit for Most 12" Turntables Thickness: 3 mm (1/8") Diameter: 298.5 mm (11 3/4") Fits most standard 12-inch turntable platters.
Turntable mat upgrades provide a significant improvement to your records sound quality. Absorbing vibrational energy allows your stylus to make better contact with the grooves on your records.
The delicate interface between diamond tip and groove is critical: Hudson Hi-Fi's Acrylic Mat provides a neutral 'see-through' sound quality with improved dynamics. The mat provides a fresh modern look, improved mid-range, tighter bass response, and a less splashy sound.
Suitable for all turntables with a 12" platter. The rigid mat is 3mm thick, so there is minimal adjustment to vertical tracking angle. The playing surface is exceptionally smooth and the label recess enables perfect record support. The flip side is as smooth as the top face, and is brilliant for setting arm bias (anti-skate force). You simply place the stylus on it and adjust until the arm sits in the same place and does not move toward the center or the edge. This will not damage the stylus and is arguably the most accurate way of setting the bias on your tonearm.
