As machine polishers have advanced, so have the demands of the pads that attach to them. This is our latest evolution in polishing pad design. Each aspect of the pad design has been carefully considered to deliver maximum performance, durability, and results. Featuring a high-grip Velcro backing for maximum adhesion and minimal pad slip, these pads will hold tighter to your machine, reducing the chances of an errant pad or mid-polishing delamination in even the most extreme conditions. We made further improvements to our already excellent Gen6 foam pad design, shortening the overall diameter to 5.5" and removing some of the thickness to the pad, to improve feel and decrease vibration. The convoluted face generates less heat, and the tapered edge design provides stability that can withstand the rigors of today's large orbit machines like the Adam's Swirl Killer. To aid with cooling, plus reduce weight, each pad has a precision cut center hole that can also be used to aid in centering the pad on the backing plate. They now have a lower price when compared to our older Generation 5 pads as well. The specially selected blue foam used in the construction of the Adam's 5.5" Blue Foam Cutting Pad mates up perfectly with the color coordinated Adam's Heavy Correcting Compound to make short work of heavy swirls and scratches, while still finishing clean with low amounts of dust. The blue polishing face has strong cutting power but does need to be followed up with our 5.5" Orange Foam Pad and Correcting Polish for best results. Extensive testing and development was done to make sure that each aspect of the Adam's 5.5" Blue Foam Cutting Pad maximizes performance on a variety of polishers, but they are purpose built to maximize performance of the Adam's Swirl Killer, Rupes LHR15ES Mk II Bigfoot Polisher, or Porter Cable 7424 XP equipped with a 5" backing plate.
