- SAFE FOR PLASTIC WATER TANKS - This deicer's weighted heated element keeps the deicer fully submerged. The sinking deicer is safe to use in plastic water tanks.
- STAINLESS STEEL HEATING ELEMENT - This tank de-icer has a stainless steel heating element that discourages rusting and corrosion over time.
- HEATING CAPACITY - This stock tank heater is recommended for 70-100 gallons of water.
- POWER CORD LENGTH - This pond deicer has a 6 foot anti-rub power cord.

This sinking de-icer will sink to the bottom of the tank and is thermostatically controlled with an automatic shut-off. Since it operates at the bottom of the tank, it is less likely to be disturbed by livestock. Each unit comes with a galvanized wire guard/stand. With the guard in place, the sinking de-icer may be used in plastic tanks. 1500 watts, 120 volts.
