- AMACO Velvet V-361 Jet Black Underglaze (2 oz.) is a cool black liquid ceramic pottery underglaze that is smooth and velvety at Cone 05, darkens at Cone 5, and becomes darkest black and slightly glossy at Cone 10.
- AMACO Velvet “V” Underglazes can be applied to bisque and wet/unfired clay.
- Apply to wet/bone-dry clay before firing, or on Cone 04 bisque and cover with a glaze before firing to Cone 05-10.
- When left unglazed, these underglazes have a soft, velour look. Glaze with clear matte glaze for a satin finish, or gloss glaze to intensify color.
- Mix to create hundreds of colors!
Lead-free Amaco Velvets are opaque underglazes which have the appearance of velvet when left unglazed. When glazed with transparent matte glaze they will assume a soft, satin finish. Cone 05-10.
