Product Description
Anderson Metals 28266B Brass Barstock 90?Degree Male NPTF x Male NPTF Elbow, 1/8?Inch Threaded Brass Pipe Fitting for Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Fluid Systems
- BRASS BARSTOCK CONSTRUCTION: This 90?degree elbow is made from solid brass barstock to provide excellent corrosion resistance and strength, delivering reliable, long?lasting performance in fluid transfer, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial pipe systems.
- 90?DEGREE ELBOW ANGLE: Features a precision 90?degree angle that helps redirect fluid flow efficiently, reducing stress on piping runs and supporting consistent system performance in tight or angled installations where directional changes are required.
- MALE NPTF THREADS: Includes 1/8?inch male NPTF threaded ends on both sides that create secure, leak?resistant joints with compatible female threaded pipe fittings, maintaining system integrity and dependable performance under typical pressures.
- VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with a wide range of threaded, flared, or hose connections in pneumatic, hydraulic, water, and general fluid systems, this item supports multiple applications while maintaining reliable, leak-resistant performance.
- EASY INSTALLATION: The standardized design interfaces allow smooth and straightforward installation using common hand tools, helping reduce labor time while providing a secure, leak-resistant and reliable connection in any system or application.
This Anderson Metals 06130 90 degree elbow is a brass pipe fitting with 1/8" male NPT threads. The 90-degree elbow fitting, or "ell," connects two pipes at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow between pipes. It has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to female threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel.
Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).
Anderson Metals manufactures brass fittings, valves, and pipe nipples. The company, founded in 1951, is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
