Product Description
Anderson Metals 28041 Brass 1/8-Inch Female NPTF Pipe Cross, 4-Way Connector for 1/8-Inch Female NPTF Threads, Brass Fitting for Pneumatic, Fluid & Industrial Systems
- BRASS CONSTRUCTION: This pipe cross fitting is manufactured from high-quality brass to provide excellent corrosion resistance and strength, delivering reliable, long-lasting performance in fluid transfer, pneumatic, hydraulic, and general industrial pipe systems.
- FOUR FEMALE NPTF PORTS: Features four 1/8-inch female NPTF threaded connections that allow secure attachment to compatible male threaded lines, helping create tight, leak-resistant joints that support consistent system performance.
- CROSS DESIGN: This 4-way pipe cross connects four sections of pipe or fittings in a compact configuration, supporting complex system layouts while helping evenly distribute fluid flow and minimize potential leak paths under normal operating pressures.
- VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with a wide range of threaded, flared, or hose connections in pneumatic, hydraulic, water, and general fluid systems, this item supports multiple applications while maintaining reliable, leak-resistant performance.
- EASY INSTALLATION: The standardized design interfaces allow smooth and straightforward installation using common hand tools, helping reduce labor time while providing a secure, leak-resistant and reliable connection in any system or application.
This Anderson Metals 06102 barstock cross is a brass pipe fitting with 1/8" female NPT threads. The cross fitting has four openings positioned at 90-degrees from each other for connecting and branching four pipes. It has female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to male threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads and a locknut for increased stability. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel. The barstock cross has fair vibration resistance and is suitable in low to medium pressure applications.
Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).
Anderson Metals manufactures brass fittings, valves, and pipe nipples. The company, founded in 1951, is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
