Product Description

Anderson Metals - 04095-0604 Brass Tube Fitting, 45 Degree Elbow, 3/8" Flare x 1/4" Male Pipe

  • 45-degree elbow for connecting two tubes at an angle
  • Flared tube connection on one end and male NPT connection on the other
  • Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability
  • Operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F
  • Resists mechanical pullout for a more secure connection
  • These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

This Anderson Metals 45-degree elbow tube fitting is made of brass, has a flared tube connection and a male NPT connection, and is suitable for use with fuel and gas systems. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This 45-degree elbow fitting connects two tubes at a 45-degree angle to change the direction of flow between tubes. It has a flared tube connection on one end for connecting to a flared tube and a male National Pipe Taper (NPT) connection on the other end to connect to a female NPT threaded tube, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting can be used with copper, brass, aluminum, or steel tubing and is part of an assembly that resists mechanical pullout for a more secure connection, and can be assembled and reassembled without affecting the seal. This 45-degree elbow tube fitting has an operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F and is suitable for use with fuel and gas systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and vacuum applications.

Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.

Anderson Metals manufactures brass fittings, valves, and pipe nipples. The company, founded in 1951, is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
