Angus has taken his roommate, Bahoor, into his confidence, and they have become a Cadet Magnum team. They return to the Space Cadet Academy for their second year, knowing that Angus' unknown nemesis is there, waiting to do him in. What they don't know, however, is that his nemesis is programming academy robots to do the deed. As if that is not enough danger, the Beeman Empire is sending shape-shifters as their latest ploy to eliminate Cadet Magnum, posing as Angus' best friends.
