- Each Novus speaker is embedded with our new tweeter - a high-end natural fiber dome membrane. A neodymium motor and ferrofluid cooled voicecoil help give these tweeters a flat frequency response that can extend up to 30kHz. They are surrounded by an aluminum faceplate and metal grille.
- New 5.25" Aramid-Fiber Cone Woofers, Each Novus speaker utilizes our new 5.25” aramid-fiber woofer cones to bring forth a full range of sound. It features a unique tooled rubber surround to conceal the mounting screws in each speaker. The long-throw linear excursion design makes for a broad dynamic range and low distortion.
- Tweeter Adjustment, This feature is designed to help the Novus speakers perform optimally within a variety of different listening environments as well as to accommodate listener preferences. We always encourage you to try the speaker with both settings so that you can find the sound that pleases you most!
- Slotted Reflex Port and Sloping Baffle, The sloping front baffle design creates an even phase alignment between treble and bass drivers. Unlike the Boötes void, a porthole can enhance the bass performance of many speaker cabinets. In the case of the Novus, we went with a slotted reflex port design.
- Uniquely Modern Cabinet Design and Acoustically Transparent Lightweight Magnetic Grilles, Wall and Ceiling Mounting
- The 5-way gold-plated binding posts let you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.
