Apples and Pears and Other Stories

Apples and Pears is Davenport's first novel-length work of fiction; told in the form of a journal and sketchbook, with thirty-two original drawings by the author. The drawings complement the journal entries in exploring the relationships between the three principal characters. Together they try to revive Fourier's theories of social harmony, individual freedom, and self-realization.
