- Neon Red Crayfish (Procambarus alleni, also known as crawfish) are hardy specimensand their care is easy. Basic aquarium supplies required, including a submersible pump, e.g. rio pump or wave pump.
- Large crayfish can be a threat to most aquarium animals, including a turtle and smallshrimp, but they can be kept with few species of fast moving live fish, such as Platies, Gourami, Discus, etc.
- These crayfish ship as 2 in. long young adults that will grow up to 5 - 6 inches long. Theythrive best in tanks with underwater decorations that provide shelter, such as PVC tubesor pipes.
- This listing is for 1 breeding pair, so each DIY kit includes 1 male and 1 female crayfish. Ifmating is successful, a berried female can carry up to 400 eggs at a time!
