Washing and maintenance:
Do not bleach, do not wash it in a washing machine. Dry clean is recommended. You can also gently hand wash it in cold water with a very mild detergent.
A few drops of hair conditioner added to the rinse water will help keep the silk soft and flexible. And ½ cup of vinegar to the rinse water can keep silk from yellowing.
Press the water out of the fabric by rolling it within a towel. Do not twist or wring.
Dry in shade. Avoid direct sunlight.
Iron only when you have to. Use a cool iron with a press cloth between the iron and the fabric.
